Your children will not care if your hair is out of place or if everyone’s outfits don’t perfectly match. What they will remember is the fun we had, the laughter, and the time spent together. Those are the memories that matter, and the ones they will love looking back on in years to come.

Children grow up so quickly. In what feels like the blink of an eye, they go from tiny toddlers to fully grown adults, with all those awkward in-between years flying past. Capturing these moments matters, because once they’re gone, you can’t get them back. Photographing families in this season of life is something I care deeply about, and it’s a real privilege to create images you’ll treasure for years.

My photography style is very relaxed. I might gently guide you into certain positions or suggest something to spark a reaction, but my aim is always to capture you as you are, in that moment. Nothing forced, nothing overly posed. Just real connection.

​

Family is important, and I believe photographs of your family are incredibly valuable. I’m completely open to where you’d like your session to take place. That might be the beach, the park, your garden or your home, a woodland walk or somewhere that holds special meaning for you. If there’s a place that matters to your family, let’s go there.

I travel across Suffolk and Norfolk, photographing families in locations such as Gunton Woods, Eaton Park, Dunwich Forest, Carlton Marshes, The Waterways, Lowestoft Beach, Great Yarmouth Beach, Gorleston Beach and Pakefield Beach, as well as many other beautiful outdoor spots.

Full outdoor family sessions usually last around one to two hours. This works especially well for larger families, as it allows time to photograph different groupings and relationships, and for younger children who may need a little time to settle, warm up and get to know me.

​

We’ll meet at your chosen location and spend time walking, playing, chatting and exploring. I take the time to get to know your children, talking to them, playing games and letting them feel comfortable before we even think about taking photos.

After your session, you’ll receive a private online gallery of around 50 images, sometimes more. You’ll be able to choose your favourites, which will then be professionally edited and delivered to you within two to three weeks, often sooner.
